Drayton + Emily | Equestrian Fall Wedding
I recently had the honor of photographing Drayton and Emily’s fairytale equestrian wedding in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains. It was the most perfect mid October day, one filled with laughter and tears, often at the same time.
Downtown Woodstock, Georgia Family Session
I love when a family trusts me to try a location that’s a little outside of the box for typical Fall family photos. While I love a good mountain scape & a pretty sunset just as much as the next photographer, it can be so refreshing to do something completely different { because hey, every family is different too! }.
Chandler + Tico
This weekend, I had the privilege of capturing this gorgeous late summer session featuring a talented young lady & her horse Tico ♥️ Chandler is a competitive horseback rider and so incredible with handling and training horses with her mom on their farm.
Emily + Drayton | Carters Lake Dam Sunset Session
My favorite part about this location for an engagement session is the built in symbolism of the winding road. Carts Lake Dam worked beautifully as a metaphor for the journey ahead for a couple soon to be married, and the road they will travel together.
Industrial Chic Wedding
Maybe backyard weddings aren’t your thing, you’re looking for something more elevated, more you! Look no further, Lindale Mill has you covered. Located outside of Rome, Georgia, this iconic textile mill factory is perfect for an industrial chic wedding with the most gorgeous backdrops around.
Lillian Gardens Wedding
Today I wanted to share some wedding inspiration, because we all know that its in the details, and man, these details are so good! If you’re an Atlanta area bride, consider looking just a bit outside of Atlanta for the dreamiest venue, Lillian Gardens. It’s a historical home on a beautiful street, turned wedding venue, with a darling garden, gazebo and fountain for a quaint outdoor ceremony. There’s also a grooms cottage on the premises, a reception space, and dressing rooms inside the home.
What is a Fresh 48?
Looking back on my hospital stay and the birth of my two babies (now 8 and 10!) I can honestly say, it was a blur. We have a few blurry cellphone clips to confirm as much too! The first 48 hours are a combination of exhaustion and pure bliss, some of the most fleeting moments in life. That’s where a fresh 48 session comes in.
